Launching A New Restaurant, Building A Marketing List

THE CHALLENGE

Tillivery was Altitude Hospitality Group’s latest innovation from their flagship restaurant, Till Kitchen, the largest restaurant in Colorado by square foot. It was a delivery service designed to deliver healthy, chef-prepared meals from the restaurant several times a week within an 8 mile radius of the restaurant in Colorado Springs. They partnered with our team to drive event attendance for their monthly tasting events where local residents got to taste the food, ask questions, and sign up to become a member.

They partnered with our team to drive event attendance for their monthly tasting events where local residents got to taste the food, ask questions, and sign up to become a member.

THE GOALS

  • Generate $30k in recurring monthly meal delivery revenue.
  • Average 100 attendees per tasting event
  • Build marketing list subscribers

OUR STRATEGY

In order for our local audience to become aware of the meal delivery service, we started by scheduling a photoshoot to capture the restaurant’s most eye-catching, delicious meals that would appeal to most of our prospects. Once we had our creative assets on hand, we used them in our advertising strategy to target family households on Facebook and Instagram who met specific interests and demographics. In our ads, we promoted the tasting event and encouraged those interested in coming to RSVP for a limited number of seats by providing their email and phone number.

We also built a landing page where prospects would visit after clicking our ads that was designed to collect RSVPs for the event by capturing contact information including emails and phone numbers. Using this information, we enrolled our prospects into an automated text and email messaging sequence to build the value of the delivery service and generate excitement & exclusivity about the event. Our goal was to keep the tasting event top of mind in the days leading up to the event and avoid interested prospects from forgetting about their RSVP. It also helped our clients predict how many people were planning on showing up to the event so that enough food would be prepared in advance.

The first tasting event we threw was so successful that it was “standing room only.” After running 4 tasting events in the span of 2 months, we doubled our goals and the delivery service was off to a great start.
